Printed On Sturdy Card Stock 18" x 12"
Flags of the Confederate States of America contained seven and thirteen
white stars. The original "Stars & Bars" flag contained seven white stars for the original Confederate States: South Carolina 12/20/1860;
Mississippi 1/9/1861; Florida 1/10/1861; Alabama 1/11/1861; Georgia 1/19/1861; Louisiana 1/26/1861 and
Texas 2/1/1861. The thirteen white stars were for the original seven and the additional six Confederate States:
Virgina 4/17/1861; Arkansas 5/6/1861; Tennessee 5/7/1861 and North Carolina 5/21/1861.
Efforts to secede failed in Kentucky and Missouri though those states were represented by two of the stars.
